Trader Joe’s Dutch Griddle Cakes are a delightful departure from the standard pancake fare that most of us are used to. These European-inspired treats promise a convenient and luxurious breakfast experience, and I was eager to see if they lived up to that expectation after reading all the hype on Facebook and Reddit.
Ah, the joy of culinary travel without ever leaving home! This food blog has become my passport, whisking me from Germany’s hearty staples to Thailand’s zesty flavors, over to India’s aromatic spices, back to classic American fare, and now, we’re stamping our gustatory visas for China. Today’s stop is a cozy corner in the vast expanse of Trader Joe’s frozen aisle, where we uncover the Pork Shu Mai Pork Dumplings, a savory delight promising to transport your taste buds to the Far East.
As we roll into the cooler and darker days of Autumn, cookie baking season starts anew. Growing up my mother would spend part of her weekend baking a variety of cookies and one of the most common ones was sugar cookies. They bring back such fond memories… Trader Joe’s is being extra helpful in selling us this ready to bake cookie dough. Let me walk you through how to use this product. Update: I am getting a lot of negative remarks about these cookies. I am wondering if there is batch difference. I will pick up another tube and re-test this week.
Just in time for the Holiday Season, Trader Joe’s has released their seasonal Egg Nog Liqueur again. This highly popular egg nog drink is very popular in the winter time and Eggnog or Egg Nog, it doesn’t make much of a difference, it all tastes the same. Eggnog the drink is a very old drink according to Wikipedia. It’s been around for hundreds of years. The main ingredients for traditional eggnog are milk, eggs, liquor (spirits), and spices. It’s a drink that has been served around Christmas time for as long as the United States has been around and probably earlier in England. Let’s just say it’s a tradition that has been going back a very long time. Trader Joe’s isn’t one to pass up traditions so here we have a very traditional eggnog, I’m sorry Egg Nog as Trader Joe’s likes to spell it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Trader Joe’s, a brand synonymous with quality and uniqueness in the grocery realm, has once again made its mark in the comfort food category with its version of Chicken Noodle Soup. This soup is often compared to the classic Progresso Rich and Hearty Chicken Noodle soup on social media. They are so similar that I wonder if Progresso is making for Trader Joe’s. I feel I am bit of an expert here as I’ve eaten hundreds of cans of Campbell’s and Progresso chicken noodle soup over the years. Let’s dive into the review…
Every week we give you a rundown of newly released products.
