Trader Joe’s Eggwich breadless breakfast sandwich is a tasty and convenient option for those who want a low-carb, high-protein breakfast on the go. This sandwich comes with a filling of eggs, turkey sausage, and American cheese, all sandwiched between two fluffy egg patties instead of bread.
This is a list of all the gluten free products that have been reviewed here at Club Trader Joe’s. Trader Joe’s has a lot of Gluten Free options and I review the good and bad. These are sorted by date.
Trader Joe’s goes all out this time of year with the Pumpkin pie flavored foods. Really what you are tasting is the pumpkin pie spices, not pumpkin. While pumpkin has a unique flavor, it’s like potatoes, you really have to try hard to taste it. That’s why there are so many pumpkin pie SPICE flavored foods. It’s to give that pumpkin some flavor.
One thing that Trader Joe’s seems to excel at is its ability to cater to families with little kids. When you walk the aisles you see lots of snacks and fruit drinks and yogurt tubes and stuff that you give to your children to eat or snack on. I can’t tell you how many strawberry squishers and applesauce crushers (notice the kid friendly names?) we went through when the kids were little. One of the biggest hits in our house was the Trader Joe’s Chicken Drumellas (which I am not sure they still sell, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen them). For many years the freezer was stocked with several boxes of Chicken Drumellas (aka chicken nuggets) until our children’s taste in food got more sophisticated when they became teenagers.
If you are like millions of other Americans when you were a child you ate bags of Dorito chips. We would ride our bikes to the grocery store a couple of miles away and get cans of Coke and a bag of Taco Flavor Doritos. Mexican food was not on every street corner where I grew up on the East Coast like it is now. Sure there was Taco Bell and mom made those crispy Old El Paso taco kits you got at Safeway but that was the extent of our exposure to real Mexican food. Until I moved to the west coast as an adult did I really understand how interesting and diverse it can be.
It’s that time of year again when everything turns orange and the pumpkins start to come out at Trader Joe’s. It’s a difficult task but I will taste as many pumpkin inspired products as I can this Fall. Next up is the Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Cream Cheese Spread. Trader Joe’s introduced it many years ago and it keeps coming back and it’s always a huge hit in the Fall.
It seems like these days that all I am doing is reviewing vegan this or gluten free that. My last review was for “beefless” Korean Bulgogi which I thought was surprisingly good. Not only are vegan and gluten free foods very trendy, but they do make up the bulk of a lot of new foods at Trader Joe’s these days which is why you see more of these reviews from Club Trader Joe’s than other foods. Trader Joe’s is never one to shy away from a food trend. I am always happy to review more pizza products because pizza is my favorite food in the whole wide world.
