Trader Joe’s Peppermint Pretzel Slims

Strolling through Trader Joe’s yesterday stocking up on supplies, I decided to randomly pick up a few holiday related food items that I wouldn’t normally buy. I saw this item and said to myself, “you would never, ever buy this on your own so go for it!” I have to say this is probably one of the most shocking purchases I have ever made at Trader Joes!

After dinner I was showing my wife my latest Trader Joe’s purchases, and I showed her these. She thought they might be pretty tasty – so I opened the bag. What commenced was a serious chow down that I’ve not seen in ages! My wife and two sons destroyed a bag of these Peppermint Pretzel Slims in about 15 minutes. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but these are really tasty!

Trader Joe’s Salmon Mint Sauce Orzo

Here is another contender for the longest name in Trader Joe’s! 16 words if you include the Trader Joe’s! Anyway, I was buzzing by the frozen section and saw this new packaging in the fish section. Hmm… I love salmon. We live near Seattle which is like the Salmon capital of the world. We gorge on it most of the summer so I am somewhat biased on my salmon. I thought what the hell, there are a lot of people out there that love salmon and this is supposed to be wild salmon so it’s all good!
