Not everything I review can be a hit like the Squiggly Cut Noodles or the Kimbap, we sometimes must eat just some regular food and one of my favorite meals is breakfast! I love eggs and sausage and toast.
Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Thins Review – I’m not a carb-free person. I enjoy my carbs but you know I am looking out for all of you a high protein, low carb, keto person. I mean who doesn’t like cauliflower, eggs, and cheese. Wait that sounds a little like a frittata or an omelet. You’d almost be right in both cases!
Trader Joe’s never shied away from trendy food trends. Cauliflower is the superfood for low-carb diets. It’s relatively high in protein for a vegetable while keeping the carbs lower than a lot of them. These thins look like they are about 5″ across, sorry I didn’t measure them. They are the perfect size for a taco or a small sandwich or maybe even a small pizza-like contraption. At first, I thought these were the same as its larger cousin, the cauliflower pizza crust, but one key ingredient is different and that is eggs. That makes all the difference.
Trader Joe’s Uncured Peppered Turkey Bacon Review – This is the product that you didn’t know you didn’t want. I have been hesitant to try this Turkey Bacon for a really long time. Turkey is nothing like pork and is usually very lean so I don’t know how there would ever be enough fat in this to make it palatable. I reviewed the Beef Bacon years ago and found it pretty awful. At least beef has some fat to make it kind of interesting but turkey has fat? I decided to take the plunge and buy it…
Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Pancake Review – First of all I want to say it’s a good day to be a cauliflower farmer. Trader Joe’s must sell about 50% of the USA’s consumption of cauliflower. It’s the new miracle food, as far as they are concerned. It was Kale before and broccoli before that, but if they could make cauliflower ice cream, I’m sure they would.
