Over The River and Through The Woods Trek Mix – Quick Review. It’s that time of year again! It’s nut mix time! No really during the holidays, Trader Joe’s releases new and old season nut or snack mixes geared towards the season.
I recently picked up several to review and this is the first one this year. It’s a mix of Roasted salted almonds, sweetened dried cranberries, pumpkin pie spiced pecans, roasted salted pepitas (pumpkin seeds), roasted salted pistachios, and white & dark chocolate covered pretzels. It’s quite a different mix. I quite enjoyed it, especially the mini chocolate covered pretzels. The only downside is that it’s about 50% salted almonds. I barely found any pistachios and pepitas in there. But again, those pretzels make up for a lot of almonds. It’s a great mix to have around for the holidays!
