Trader Joe’s Chocolate Chip Sandwich Cookies. My kids love cookies. I try to keep them out of the house as much as possible, but those teenagers really have a sweet tooth. I guess when I wasn’t looking, one of my kids slipped these into my shopping cart when I wasn’t looking. Why not? They are chocolate chip cookie sandwiches! What on earth could be better?!?!? In a teenager mind, probably nothing…
The truth is I could easily make these at home for less money and like 3 times as many cookies. How hard would it be to bake some cookies, melt some chocolate and bam! you have basically the same thing. The problem with this, of course, is I actually have to make the cookies and melt the chocolate and all that. Sure I 
could probably do these better, but I could probably also make Oreo cookies at home with enough time and effort that taste better than the store bought ones, but hardly anyone does that. Why? It’s too much work!

So basically, these are two rather flat chocolate chip cookies that sandwich some chocolate between them. They are on the crunchy side of the cookie spectrum. (I know there is a semi-religious war between chewy and crispy chocolate chip cookie lovers) The chocolate is milk chocolate. They are pretty small so you will probably have to eat more than one. I really liked them and my original plan to put couple of them in my kids school lunch bags never happened because they devoured them before the end of the day! Trader Joe’s says it best on the side fo the box on the left.
Personally, I really like them. I don’t sit around and eat a whole hell of a lot of cookies, but I could easily see myself eating several of these for dessert. Based on my kids preferences, they both gave a huge thumbs up on them. They just wish they could eat more! Based on that I will rate these 8 out of 10 Bells!
