Trader Joe’s Mini Gingerbread Men Cookies

I’ve got three quick reviews today. One after another, but all separate so you can more easily find them later on.

First up is the Trader Joe’s Mini Gingerbread Men Cookies, subtitled “Dapper Gents with Fashion Sense and Great Taste”

Trader Joe’s has a lot of holiday cookies and candies right now. Almost too much for one person to review. I could probably spend a solid week trying every confection they come out with and it changes every year.

I’m not sure if I’ve seen these exact cookies before but Trader Joe’s always seems to have a myriad of gingerbread flavored items right now. I don’t care because they are mostly so good!

You have your basic small gingerbread man cookie here about 10 in the plastic tub. Looks like they must be hand decorated with a minimal amount of frosty to dress them up. These are great to put out at parties, for snacks for Santa when he delivers the goods, or put them in your kids lunch like I’ve been doing.

Fresh out of the box, they are semi-hard, not completely crunchy with a little bit of chew to them. They are pretty gingery though, with almost a little heat. Nice blend of holiday spices in them. The only ding against them is that many of the little guys were losing buttons and smiles at the bottom of the box. I only had one broken one, which is pretty good for this type of product. Fairly standard stuff. Lots of fun though for the kids!
